A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Inverness. The road at Inshes roundabout to its junction with the A9 is still closed as emergency services work to recover the vehicle involved. They were called out to the Tesco bus stop at Inshes Retail Park just after 7pm and shut the road off after the incident. A police spokeswoman said: “We were called to reports of a person being struck by a car just after 7pm on Inshes Road. “Emergency services are currently on the scene and the road has been closed at the Inshes roundabout to the A9 junction. “A male has been taken to hospital to be checked out but his injuries are not thought to be serious or life threatening.”
