[[success]] Email address Sign up Recovery operation at Moray harbour after van plunges into water A recovery operation is underway at Hopeman harbour today after a van careered into the water. The vehicle is believed to have gone off a pier last night. Police, coastguard and fire crews were made aware of the incident and a vehicle recovery unit is being sent to retrieve the van today. The occupant of the van was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and is believed to be safe and well. A spokeswoman said: “Police were called to Hopeman harbour at 7am after being informed a van was in the water. “A recovery operation is taking place to winch the van back onto dry land.” Already a subscriber?
