A new date has been set for members of the public to donate shoes to a special podiatry clinic for homeless and vulnerable people in the north-east.
The Shand Practice has started offering six-weekly footcare sessions at the Aberdeen Cyrenians base on Summer Street.
It is now looking for donations of footwear which will be cleaned and sanitised before they are passed on for others to benefit from.
These can be dropped off at The Shand Practice at Altens Mini Units off Souter Head Road from 9am to 4pm on Saturday November 3.
Podiatrist Scott Shand said: “As part of the initiative we would be very grateful for any donations of shoes, trainers and hiking boots that are in good condition.”
