A man was rescued from Portgordon Harbour in Moray this morning.
The emergency services were called just after 11am following a report of a person in the water.
Buckie Lifeboat, the Coastguard helicopter from Inverness, police, fire and ambulance crews all went the the scene after the alarm was raised.
Firefighters assisted the lifeboat crew using ladders to help move the casualty to a safe location before he was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, arriving at 12.45pm.
