Elgin has been voted the seventh best walking neighbourhood in the UK in a public vote.
The town was nominated due to its pedestrianised town centre and east access to green spaces and beat off competition from more than 70 other towns to finish in the top 10.
Falkirk was the only other Scottish place up for the trophy and won the Ramblers Association award with 20% of the 12,000 votes.
Elgin gained around five per cent, with other towns coming in the top ten including Aberystwyth, Cambridge and Brighton.
The winner was announced last week during a ceremony at the Houses of Parliament.
