Emergency services sealed off an area of Northfield earlier today following a serious assault on a 23-year-old man.
Police were seen working in the area around Kettlehills Crescent, and have made door-to-door inquiries this morning.
Police were seen standing at the door of a house on Provost Fraser Drive.
A police spokeswoman said: “Around 3.05am on Saturday June 10, police were called to a report of a 23-year-old man seriously assaulted in Kettlehills Crescent, Aberdeen.
“Police and ambulance attended and the injured man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
“Inquiries are at an early stage to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this incident and anyone with information should contact 101 with reference 0538 of 10 June.”
