Pedestrian taken to hospital after road collision in Aberdeen

A man has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after falling in front of a lorry. The incident happened on Great Southern Road near Goals football centre at 8.40am this morning. The road is currently closed and motorists are being advised to avoid the area and take alternative routes.  


Police Scotland name woman who died in north-east crash

Police have confirmed the identity of the 88-year-old woman killed in a crash on a north-east road yesterday. Barbara Riddel, from Knock, died in a one-vehicle collision on the B9117 Rothiemay to Keith road. The collision happened at around 10.50am and no one else was involved.  


Witnesses sought after cyclist collides with pedestrian in Aberdeen

Police are seeking information after a pedestrian collided with a cyclist on a busy city centre street in Aberdeen today. The incident happened at around 12.30pm on Union Street at the traffic light junction with Market Street and St Nicholas Street. Witnesses are asked to contact police on 101.
